Winter
Our house is about a 10-minute drive from the nearest ski slope, and is located on the most beautiful south slope in Ost-Tirol. We have the most sun hours in all of Austria (here Lienz) is known, all winter sports activities can be reached within a short distance by car or with the ski bus (which stops almost in front of the house) ski rental. Toboggan runs are available in the immediate vicinity and of course the East Tyrolean summer toboggan run on the house mountain Hochstein.
Cafe’s en Clubs
Directly at the bottom of the gondola lift, you can have a nice drink after a full ski day at the “Lienzer Tenne”. Also, on top of Zettersfeld mountain, there are several huts where you can eat and drink. If you drive a 4×4 or use snow chains you can drive up to the Faschingsalm mountain by car, where you will find the huts Naturfreundehutte and Meckies. this is also the perfect starting place for Ski-touring.

Activities in the sun
In summer, there are plenty of options for outdoor activities, including hiking, rafting, mountain climbing, mountain biking, golf, swimming in the Tristacher See (lake), boat trip on the Weissen See. Not to forget make a nice road trip with your car or motorcycle on Europe’s most beautiful mountain pass “Grossglockner pass”
Restaurants
Right around the corner from our house, you will find the restaurant Iselsbergerhof, where you can have delicious food and drinks for a relatively low price. Iselsbergerhof can also be reached by a scenic walk that takes about 45 minutes going up and 30 minutes going down the mountain. For a culinary evening, it is best to visit “der Stadel” in Debant or Marinnelie in Doelsach. We are also always available to inform you about other dining options.
